Amanda TealPrincipal|[email protected]
Amanda founded Amanda Teal Design in 2010 with a simple mission: to create beauty and elevate how people live their lives. Her approach is highly personal and she loves collaborating with clients, architects, and the many talented local craftspeople to bring our collective vision to life in the home.
A decade later, Amanda is one of the Bay Area’s most sought after interior designers. She’s known for creating interiors that strike the perfect balance of livability and sophistication. A classicist at heart, her work focuses on clean lines, balanced proportions and a mindful use of tone and texture. Her interiors have a barefooted elegance that are quintessentially California.
Prior to striking out on her own, Amanda pursued the opportunity to work for and learn from Rebecca Bradley. At RBID Amanda was part of an elite team that worked on once-in-a-lifetime projects across the country. She received her degree in design from Academy of Art University and also studied at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. Her work has earned praise in publications including Architectural Digest, California Home & Design, Gentry Home, Modern Luxury and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Teresa Casias Senior Project Manager|[email protected]
Born and raised in Sonoma, CA, Teresa discovered her love of design in middle school, spending hours watching HGTV and helping her parents with remodeling projects at home. After getting her degree in interior design, she stayed in San Diego to work for a renowned firm for six years, and then joined our team when she moved back to the Bay Area to be closer to family. Here at ATD, Teresa manages every project from first meeting to full reveal. She’s also our CAD wizard, using her well-trained eye to uncover the hidden potential in our clients’ existing spaces.
Jamie SanckProject Manager|[email protected]
Growing up in the Bay Area, Jamie knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the design world. She credits her parents for letting her creativity and imagination run wild, helping her end up exactly where she dreamed of. Jamie got her degree in Interior Architecture and then went on to work for several high-profile residential design companies. At ATD, she’s able to blend the two things she’s most passionate about: project management and design. It’s not often that creative and analytical skills coexist, but they do with Jamie—and our clients’ projects are all the better for it.
Carmen Sofia SchroederPurchasing Coordinator|[email protected]
Carmen Sofia was born in Caracas, Venezuela to art-collector parents and spent her formative years there surrounded by beautiful things. She came to the U.S. to attend boarding school at Sacred Heart in Atherton, and then after graduating from Menlo College with a degree in business, she worked in marketing for advertising agencies, as well as in finance and tech companies. While raising her son, she started helping friends decorate their homes and fell in love with the process. When she returned to the workforce, a career in interior design felt like a natural fit, and here at ATD she’s able to combine her two talents—operations and aesthetics—in a job she loves.
Maria FabbriExecutive Assistant|[email protected]
Maria grew up in San Francisco, but snuck away to the Pacific Northwest for a few years only to realize the Bay Area will always be home. After graduating with a degree in interior design, Maria started her career in the fields of hospitality and real estate. At ATD, she’s the maestro who keeps everything running seamlessly so our team and our clients are always happy. When she’s not at work, you’ll often find Maria dying fabrics or weaving baskets; anything to keep her creativity flowing.
